​We pride ourselves on the quality, diverse and original products that are brought to the market by our stall holders each week and welcome applications from new vendors.

The good news is that Takapuna Market can provide opportunities for both regular and new stallholders who want to connect with the local community each week, and want to be part of a visible market in Takapuna.

​Unfortunately, availability at our Market is limited and acceptance or non-acceptance of applications is at the sole discretion of Takapuna Market management but we will base decisions on the information given by the applicant on their application, meeting the approved product criteria, quality, product distribution, diversity and availability.

In order to make Takapuna Market a success we do require a high level of presentation at the market and do ask that all Indoor tables be covered with table cloths to the floor.

Opening Hours/ Set-Up Timing

  • The market is open from 8am-1pm, unless otherwise specified
  • Set up is from 6:00am, all stall holders must be on-site by 7:30 am – if stall holders have not arrived by 7:30am and there has been no communication, then that stallholder will, unfortunately, forfeit their space with no refund.
  • Stall holders are not able to pack up until 1 pm sharp. 
  • We ask that stallholders aim to be off Anzac Square by 2pm so that we have an opportunity to clean up.
  • Everyone must have left by 4pm at the latest.

Cost of being at Takapuna Market

Unless otherwise agreed the cost of being at Takapuna is:

Non Food Stall.

Per Gazebo: $50 Inc. GST

Produce Stalls

Per Gazebo: $50 Inc. GST

Food Stall (to be eaten at the market)

Per Truck or Trailer = $80 Inc. GST

Per Gazebo = $60 Inc. GST


Please note: We do ask our stallholders to have a Gazebo.

If you are selling food at the market, you must have an up to date food safety certificate from Auckland Council and have it on display at the market.

If you wish to sell alcohol, then you will need to obtain the appropriate licenses from Auckland council and have them on display.
